Our team

We were trailblazers in setting up tailored tour packages for globetrotting festival goers eager for new experiences. With the rise in boutique festivals, we began our foray into ticketing where traditional ticket agents fell short on supporting new offerings and extra activities.

Today we work with ambitious clients offering upsale functionality, industry knowledge, a robust platform and resale functionality that helps sell tickets more quickly and safely than any other platform.

    Do you love live music, festivals and travel? Do you want to work in a business where you can indulge your passion for these in your day-to-day?

    If the answer is yes, Kaboodle are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our quickly expanding team and help us grow our existing portfolio of clients. The role will be based in London with regular visits to our Manchester Head Office and involve plenty of travel to meet prospective partners and represent Kaboodle at festivals and events. We are looking for someone with a background of working in either a sales role or client facing position within the entertainment industry or similar areas, with proven negotiating experience and confidence in closing deals on the basis of service provision rather than price.

    You’ll be responsible for

    • Identifying potential new clients, with an eye towards cultivating the right relationship at the right time for Kaboodle’s long-term growth plans
    • Exploring and delivering creative solutions to increase profitability from new and existing clients across the range of businesses with whom we operate
    • Negotiating compelling commercial agreements that ensure we increase our existing renewal rates and increase revenue opportunities
    • Developing and managing key strategic relationships with a range of decision makers, influencers and gatekeepers
    • Working with the Head of Business Operations and the Business Development Manager to deliver our long term business strategy, developing new and creative commercial models, delivering flexibility and returns across the client base
    • Representing Kaboodle and pitch for business at suitable trade events and client presentations


    You and your skills

    • Effective administration with good time management and organisational skills
      Flexible (varied working hours)
    • Capable of dealing with big personalities and unconventional thinking
    • Positive ‘can do’ attitude, initiative, drive and enthusiasm
    • Team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
    • Demonstrate a high degree of creative thinking and understanding of commercial maths
    • Computer literate with strong skills on all MS packages & Google Workplace (G Suite)
    • Honest and direct communication skills, both written and verbal. Not afraid to pick up the phone!
    • Flexible to work occasional weekends both in the office and at events with potential international travel to work with our overseas partners.

    The package

    • Starting Salary: £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with uncapped bonus incentive
